About the event

Join facilitators Aikowehene Oakes and Farah Tanis.

Listen to medicine stories, they are all around us, in a world that has been forced to change. Social distancing, mask usage, self-quarantining have become necessary amidst the public health crisis that is COVID-19 and Black, Indigenous and Lanix people bear the brunt of infections.  It’s time we talk about the power of plant medicine, the ways plants teach our bodies how to heal, indigenous wisdom, and healing through our ancestor’s recipes for holistic healing and medicine during COVID and beyond.
