OUR VILLAGE
Black Women's Blueprint is survivor-founded and operates as a reduced hierarchical member organization. Our organization strives to operate with equally distributed power regardless of titles, and ensures decision-making power by our member base, which includes male-identified individuals, youth, women and gender-fluid persons.
The organization’s eight board of directors and nearly 180 volunteers on the advisory board are reflective of the culturally specific community that this project wishes to serve.

BWB has made bold staffing moves to take its last mandate of reconciliation and healing to the next level. Our Executive Directorship transitioned to a Co-Executive Directorship model, shared by Farah Tanis and Sevonna Brown. Ms. Brown assumes Co-Executive Directorship of the initiatives under the umbrella of BWB, focusing on reproductive health and integrative medicine for survivors, while Ms. Tanis assumes Co-Executive Directorship of BWB with a primary focus on its new flagship initiative, Restore Forward.
